Word Cloud Entry

Wordle: Global Education

This week, I felt accomplished in exploring new applications that I have never used before, like Wordle. It's a very interesting program and I can see different applications for it including uses in a classroom and personal use. I am not really frustrated with much, mostly just staying caught up this semester!

I've had to develop a bit of a pattern/routine for completing my online courses, and I feel that I am getting settled into a routine that is working for me. I have printed out the first module and find it's rewarding and great for me to check off assignments I have done and look ahead on what I need to do. It's beginning to fall into a comfortable pace for myself, not to mention it's tons of fun because I get to work with (and play with!) different applications online.

  1. Thank you for your first journal submission for ETC 567. The purpose of the journal blog is twofold. First, we want to provide a means keeping in touch with the “behind the scenes” process that unfolds during the semester. We know that taking an online course involves much more than turning in assignments and we know you don’t do this in a vacuum. Online courses can be both exhilarating and frustrating. Hang in there. It will get easier. I’m pleased to hear you are already using the apps in the classroom!
Stay organized, ask lots of questions, and stay in touch with me and your fellow group members and you will do fine.
I’m so glad to have you in the class Thasanee.
    Mary
